  1.                        HYPERLINK DEMO NOTES
  2.  
  3. Welcome to the HyperLINK demo version.  While the capabilities are 
  4. limited in this version,  we hope that it gives you a good idea of 
  5. what HyperLINK can do for you and of course provides you with  any 
  6. justification you may need to go out and purchase it :-) (That's a 
  7. grin!)
  8.  
  9. SETTING UP :  First  off,   HyperLINK  requires  One  Meg  RAM  to 
  10. operate.   Sorry, but the real program has this limitation, so why 
  11. not the demo!  (HyperLINK Applications, HAPS, will run in 512K, so 
  12. that  Run-Only  versions  of  HyperLINK  will  allow  a   pre-made 
  13. Application to run, but they will be unable to modify or create an 
  14. Application.)

  16. If   operating   from   a  Hard  Drive,   make   sure   that   the 
  17. file   HYPREDIT.ACC  is on  your C drive  in the root directory as 
  18. would be any other desk accessory you have.   Other than that, all 
  19. other  HyperLINK  files must be in  the  same  sub-directory.   If 
  20. operating from a Floppy Drive,  make sure that the HYPREDIT.ACC is 
  21. on your boot disk.  (This accessory will not run under Multidesk.)

  23. LIMITATIONS :

  25. HYPERLINK APPLICATIONS (HAP's) - Only  the HyperLINK  Applications 
  26. included  with  this demo will load into the Demo Version  of  the 
  27. program.

  29. DATABASE - The database demos are limited to 25 records.   You can 
  30. still create database files,  indexes,  find records,  etc. but we 
  31. feel  the limit of 25 records is adequate to get an idea  of  what 
  32. HyperLINK can do.
  33.  
  34. EDITOR  - Is set up as Read Only in the demo version,  so no  text 
  35. files can be created or modified in the Editor.   The Text  Editor 
  36. has  to  be present in the demo though so that Help files  may  be 
  37. viewed.   Certain other functions of the editor can not be used in 
  38. the demo either, but all Pull-Down Menus can be accessed.

  40. TEXT  LINK  - You can access Text Links we have  already  created, 
  41. but you can not create new text links in the demo.

  43. KEYSTROKES OF USE IN THE DEMO :
  44.  
  45. HELP  KEY  -  Calls up the help file associated  with  the  Active 
  46. Window.   For  instance if the Baseball HAP is  loaded,  then  the 
  47. "HELP" key will call up a file called BASEBALL.TXT.  Similarly the 
  48. "HELP" key in the Message HAP is a text file MESSAGE.TXT.

  50. F9 KEY - Minimizes whatever window is currently active.
  51. F10 KEY - Closes whatever window is currently active.
